Privacy policy
Little Orbit is an iPhone learning app published by Ibrahim Haddad. It offers island activities and illustrated stories for young children, with membership controls for grown-ups.
Learning and story information stays on your device
The app stores learning preferences, activity progress, earned play coins, creations, and optional story nicknames and pronunciations on your device. You do not need an app account or a child’s real name. Little Orbit does not send learning answers, nicknames, pronunciations, or story text to us or to a narration service.
Story voices are included in the app. Personalized narration is generated on your iPhone, and prepared audio is cached locally for replay. Little Orbit does not request photos, microphone recordings, an exact birthday, contacts, or location.
Subscriptions
Starting with version 1.0.0 build 4, Apple processes subscription payments through the App Store. Little Orbit uses Apple's StoreKit to verify membership and restore purchases on your device. The app does not send purchase records, device identifiers, or learning information to us or a third-party subscription or analytics service. We do not receive your card or bank details.
There are no third-party analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or cross-app tracking in this build. Read Apple’s privacy policy for information about Apple's processing of App Store transactions and device backups.
Earlier review and development builds
Builds before build 4 used RevenueCat for purchase verification, restoration, and subscription reporting. That service processed purchase history, subscription status, an anonymous app user identifier, and technical request information, including a device vendor identifier, device model, software versions, and locale. No learning answers, nicknames, pronunciation, or story text were sent to RevenueCat. RevenueCat has been removed from build 4. Its privacy policy describes its data handling and storage in the United States. Contact us about records from earlier builds.
Children’s privacy
There are no ads, public profiles, social messaging, or public sharing of children’s creations in Little Orbit. Purchasing opportunities and the parent area are protected by a grown-up gate. Please use a nickname rather than a child’s full name when personalizing stories.
Your controls
Use “Erase learning data” in the parent area to clear local learning information. Story settings also let you clear prepared story audio. Deleting the app removes its local app data; device backups are managed by Apple and your device settings. Erasing data or deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. Manage subscriptions in your Apple Account.
Apple, and RevenueCat for earlier builds only, may retain purchase records for subscription operation, fraud prevention, accounting, and applicable legal requirements. Contact us with privacy questions or requests about information you have provided directly. Do not send a child’s personal details when requesting help.
Support and this website
If a grown-up emails us, we receive the email address and information included in the message and use them to respond and provide support. This website has no advertising or analytics scripts. Its hosting provider, GitHub Pages, may process request logs such as IP addresses for hosting and security.
